Not sure Steve but I did send a comment to the author thanking him for the press. Every one that enjoys racing in Chico should do the same.

Well, yes and no, they have a "Tell it to the ER" section, where people call a number and voice a concern or thought about Chico, then someone in the copy room plugs it into the inside front of the Chico ER paper...The racing banned in Chico wasn't the opinion of the Chico ER, it was a person who called the number, and someone in the news room types those up and plugs them in....
Our Sports guys are very dedicated to our track, we get local coverage every week and they send out a beat writer to almost every show. Hope that clears things up a little...
