The last two week-ends have been a dream come true for Kasey and his team. I'm wondering what has changed to suddenly put him out front after no top fives up til now. Does anyone have any inside info? What ever it has been, it has been a blast watching his dominating performances. I'm hoping it is an indicator of what's to come for the rest of the year.

Does anyone remember when Kasey won the "wheelie contest" driving the Kelly Kahne 23k at Chico during the NARC show in I think 1999? He was driving in the reverse direction around the track ( probably to counter the tire stagger) and started his wheelie in turn one. He then proceeded to wheelie all the way down the front stretch, up turn four, and jumped (yes I said jumped) off of the top of the banking, landed at the bottom of the backside of turn four, and did a 360 to avoid hitting the fence! Absolutely incredible! When he was asked in the interview what he was thinking, he replied, "My crew chief said just gas it up and hang on!" PRICELESS...............
