Due to some rain this morning and an unpredictable system tonights USAC/CRA race in Tulare has been cancelled. Promoter Steve Faria didn't want to take a chance and decided to call it early enough so nobody has to travel down and get rained out.

Thanks Gary, it was a very disappointing day for all of us connected to The Thunderbowl. It started raining heavily at about 5 this morning and has sprinkled all day long off and on and, the Weather forecast is not good for the remainder of the day. We would like to thank all the fans, drivers and owners who were excited about this race, we'll try again next year! Don Sharp
