June 6, 2008 Kevin Gobrecht Memorial Scholarship Application Deadline Approaches
The Kevin Gobrecht Memorial Fund will award the eighth annual memorial scholarship to a student / race fan through local race tracks. Both education and racing were important to Kevin, and we feel that this $2,000 scholarship, given in Kevin’s memory, will benefit someone with both respect for education, as well as Kevin’s love of racing.
Qualifications: Must be enrolled at an accredited college or technical or business school. No specific major is required, but the school must be a 2 or 4-year facility.
Criteria: Proof of enrollment is required with this application. Only one application per student is permitted. Duplication will result in disqualification. Recipient will be determined by a random drawing from qualified applications. Winner must attend the Kevin Gobrecht Memorial Race at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, June 28th, 2008.
