INDIANAPOLIS – This Wednesday night at a new time, 9pm eastern on the “USAC Racing Show” on RaceFanRadio.com join host Rob Klepper as he talks to the stars of the United States Auto Club. This week we wrap up the weekends action from coast to coast and preview the upcoming National Sprint Opening weekend at Gas City and Winchester Speedways.
When asked about the move back to 9pm eastern, host Rob Klepper said he was elated, “We have been tossing around the idea of moving back to the later time. It makes sense now with the addition of the “600 Racing LIVE!” show kicking off the Wednesday Night Lineup. Fans have told us they like the later time slot so we are going to give it a go.” Klepper continued, “Charlie Brown, President of RFR and I spoke about the changing to a one hour show and will see how the reaction is to that as well. We just want to make the best show possible for the fans.”
“First time Winners” is the name of this weeks show as Shane Hmiel who won the Western Sprint Series Season Opener at All American Speedway, Kody Swanson who won the Mopar USAC National Midget feature at Southern National Raceway Park, and Johnny Rodriguez who won the USAC/CRA Event at the Perris Auto Speedway all picked up first time victories in their respective series and will join the show! It was the first Western Sprint event run by Hmiel who led the final 14 laps to get the win. Swanson on the other hand led all 40 at SNRP, while Rodriguez led the final 6 laps at the PAS.
Robert Mayson is back with the “Robert Mayson Report” to wrap up the weekends USAC/CRA Event at the Perris Auto Speedway. Mayson still holds a 4-0 lead in the “Mayson – Klepper Challenge” after neither could find victory lane over the weekend.
