New Insurance Program
Skagit Speedway is pleased to offer its competitors a new insurance policy. "With the ever increasing cost of medical treatment in the U.S. I want to be sure the racers have the best insurance possible" stated track owner Steve Beitler, "Most tracks carry the minimum of $5,000 death benifit and $15,000 medical coverage. When I took the track over I paid for a premium policy that had $10,000 death benifit and $100,000 medical coverage". Skagit Speedway has put together an insurance program that will provide $20,000 death benifit and $500,000 in medical coverage to all individuals that participate in the program. The cars will register this year (Hornets are $30 and Sprints are $50) this will cover one driver. Additional drivers and crew members can have this coverage for a one time fee of $25. "To get $500,000 in medical coverage for $25 is a great deal, a real no brainer" said Beitler,"This policy is available to all drivers, crew members, vendors and any people that enter the pit area, even one time visitors". Indaviduals that are not part of the program will have $10,000 death benifit and $50,000 medical insurance.
