CAMERON PARK, CA – Sport Clips Inc., a national sports-themed, hair-care franchise for men and boys, will be celebrating the grand opening of its new Cameron Park store from until Saturday, April 5.The new, locally-owned business, which provides a unique environment for men and boys to experience a haircut and other hair amenities amid sports television programming, is located at 3490 Palmer Drive, Suite 3H in Cameron Park – in the Golderado (Bel-Air/Longs) Shopping Center – and is open every day of the week:9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Friday; Saturday, 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday’s grand opening celebration, which is free to the public, will include live radio and giveaways from 98 Rock, free hot dogs and drinks (while supplies last), along with a special guest appearance by Sporty, the official mascot of Sport Clips.There will be three entertainment booths including a bounce house, pitching cage, jousting competition and face painting. Placerville Speedway will have sprint cars on display long with Colby Wiesz, runner up to the Civil War Championship last season and a three-time Marysville Champion and David Robinson Jr, two time Civil War and Placerville Speedway Champion. and Andy Gregg of Placerville, the third place runner in last year’s Civil War sprint car series. On April 5, clients will be able to receive a free upgrade from a basic haircut to the full MVP treatment, which includes a haircut, massaging shampoo, steamed towel, and shoulder and neck massage.
Fully-equipped for the sports enthusiast, Sport Clips surrounds its clients with sports-themed décor that includes pennants, lockers, and sports memorabilia available for purchase. Sport Clips serves its clients on a walk-in basis.
