The ASCS Northern Plains Regional sprint cars will invade the Murray County Speedway in Slayton, MN. for the finale of a (3) night race weekend.
The ASCS drivers will run Thursday July 26th at Steele County Speedway in Owatonna, MN., then head to I-90 Speedway in Hartford, SD for a Friday night special on July 27th, and then the ASCS gang will make their first ever visit to the fast 3/8 mile dirt oval Murray County Speedway in Slayton, MN. on Saturday night July 28th.
There's also some exciting news on the ASCoT National series as well, as (2) former ASCS drivers have thrown their hat into the ring and will compete for the 2007 ASCS National Championship. Larry Neighbors and Gary Lee Meier will both compete full time on the ASCoT series. Gary Wright has postponed his retirement plans and will join Jason Johnson, Darren Stewart, Travis Rilat and all the other ASCoT drivers as they begin their charge for the $50,000 first place Championship point fund money at the end of the 2007 season.
The ASCoT will be running a Midwest National Speedweeks in the upper midwest in June. Fans can see these stars and much more at Denison, IA., Hartford, SD., Brainerd, MN. as well as Huron, SD. The first ever ASCS Midwest National Speedweeks will consist of (7) or (8) races over a nine day span and fans will be treated to some of the best sprint car racing they've ever seen this coming summer.
