Chico, CA 2-28-08...For the third year in a row Oxford Suites is the official hotel of the Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico. The Oxford Suites offers comfortable, clean rooms with a wide variety of services. When calling to reserve a room please inquire about the Silver Dollar Speedway rate. Wake up to a full complimentary hot breakfast after a long night of racing. Other attractions include heated pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam room. An exercise room with cardio and weight equipment is available. Four restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel lobby. A hotel lobby offers snacks and meeting places for race fans and the teams. On many of the race weekends a lot of the teams are found working in the parking lot at the Oxford Suites.
Sim recommends looking at the race schedule and reserve all the rooms you need with one call. “I know a lot of our customers reserve all of their needs for the whole year with one call,” said Sim. “We get booked up most weekends so it is probably a smart thing to get the rooms you need now instead of waiting the week of.
Sim not only is instrumental in keeping this relationship together, but she also loves the races. “I love the races and the people,” said Sim. She also works in the Silver Dollar souvenir booth on most Friday nights.
