well who cares anyway. Scott Young and Donny Goeden are better anyway.

Whitney has gotten alot more conservative. the only reason he won a couple of IRA championships ais because Donny and Scotty don't race full time. also, there's no Joe Roe, Raymond Hensley, Kurt Winker, and Kim Mock is washed up, etc....

also the IRA is kind of like the Big Ten. very weak competition and they get killed when they play out of league games.

So, you think Travis Whitney isn't that good? Seems to me when he won ROY with the IRA he had several fast times and won a few races. That was back when Roe, Hensley and Mock were at the top or their game too.

Travis has quite a few wins over the years. He's always strong at Cedar Lake and Superior and won the first 2 or 3 events at Echo Valley (IA). He's won at other tracks too. Some of the drivers you mentioned may not be around anymore, but there still is Neitzel, Reinke, etc. Oh yeah, guess Goeden had a pretty good season last year too. Maybe Whitney has become conservative because he's smart and doesn't want to wreck his equipment. He's a clean driver that runs on his family's $.

Big Ten, maybe. I can't argue that point with you since they seem to not show too well when at Knoxville, but they do put on a great show for the money.

PS, has Scott Young ever ran a full season besides 2004 or 2005? I rarely see him venture north.
