Every year someone is laughed at for saying there might not be 100 cars. It did happen this year and there has been no mention of it.

Ascot was the greatest of all time..

Format is set so anything over 80 cars is "extra."  They only invert 40 each night in heats. The remaining cars are without a doubt coming back Friday night and are simply racing the rest of their qualifying night to figure something out for Friday or early Saturday night.

With diesel prices over $5 a gallon I'm surprised we got as many as we did

In June of 2022 diesel hit an all time high of 5.81 a gallon. Did ya care then I bet ya didn't.
