Well done kahne and macri racing.  Not going to lie I didn't think he had a chance to win. Pretty cool to see.

Popular win for Kasey. Traffic made a differance and dash draw. I think most cars passed was 5/6 as track never moved up ike it can.Sheldon was right there but fun race to watch looKed like nice crowd for Friday. Most wouldnt have bet on Kasey even from the front. Completed slide jobs were few.Macris field a top quality car. In the days of Karl and Steve and Mark their cars just had more speed today 10+ cars are pretty close

First off, Anthony Macri is my favorite driver.... but, I wonder if its more the car & team than the driver? Maybe Anthony isn't as great as we thought & Kasey is better than we thought? Kahne never won in over 25 years, gets on the Macri team  & wins right away?

Get better soon , Anthony, & ease my doibtful mind! ;) (thanks to Hank Williams for stolen song line... )

Really cool deal tonight, happy for Kasey to get such a big win.

I'd love to know how many drivers got their first WoO win at the Grove - obviously I think you'll see a lot of locals on the list and Kasey and Gio Scelzi are two I can think of off the top of my head, might be worth researching a bit. Also interested to look it up and see Kasey won opening day in 2000, but outside of that only has two additional top 10s (8th with the Gumout series in, also in 2000 and 6th at a local show in March 2018). Just wild. This also off the heels of a solid 9th at Lincoln earlier this week.

Have to wonder how the Central PA teams are reacting to this privately - I'm 100% sure they knew the 39M was a top tier piece, and trying to be as respectful to Kasey (and Anthony) as possible but man, this feels like a huge upset and makes me wonder how much better that car is than the other top Central PA teams.

By that same argument. Dewease should have dominated when he got in the 39M a few years ago, yet he was faster before and after he filled in for Macri

I was at the Grove one Friday night in 99 when Kasey showed up, absolutely no one outside the pits had an idea who he was. Opening day the next year everyone knew the name. He also won a local race at Lincoln in the 2010s I believe so he's had some success in the CPA.

All I know is a guy with a Hi Limit patch on his uniform (I think I saw one) won an Outlaw race in a Pa car in Pa and everybody was happy that he did. That's when Sprint car racing is great.

I wondered last night if that was why outlaw announcers gave him to the Posse so easily. Also there is something different this time than the last time there were other drivers in the the 39m.

I think you make a really good point here but would also suggest that it's possible that Dewease's extensive experience at PA tracks might have worked against him - he might have preferred the car drastically different than what Macri's platform was built on at the time.

I think it's just says a lot to where the 39M is at when Kasey hops in gets his only top 10 in a WoO race at Lincoln, first WoO win at WG and follows it up with another top five the night after. He definitely earned the W Friday as well. I think it's clearly the best Central PA car and I'd be hard-pressed to think of another non-touring car outside of Silva's stuff. Unless I'm having a massive blind spot I'd think it'd be those two, the Liebig 10 and maybe Brown, though I know he's been struggling for some time.
