Congratulations to Donny Schatz on his win.  It's been awhile, but he showed he can still get it done.  Too bad his biggest supporter doesn't seem to be around here anymore to congratulate him aslo.   laugh

Qualified good made dash and drove a excellent race. Last week He started out good but rear end poblems sidelined his chances.  To survive the end of last year and all the nay sayers was great. He had two exellent  racers trying but He was class of the field and it was a popular win.

Congrats to Don and the 15 team.  A strong season by him would make the series even more interesting

Imagine that, a 10 time champion who despite the opinions of nay sayers can still wheel a sprint car and WIN.  Glad to see it!!!

It would be cool to see him become a contender again this year

Congratulations  Donny & team! :)

There was a time when he was absolutely despised here in Pa but now it seems different I actually hope he does well this year. If he and Barry Jackson click they could have a good year maybe not title contenders but could win some races maybe some big ones.

Same here 100%. Also a former "Anybody but Schatz" guy... Now I have at least 4-5 T-shirts.. LOL.

I was also a "Anybody but Kinser" guy for years like many of us but ended up in his corner the last few years that he raced.

A lot of us go for the underdog & get bored with the same guy winning all the time

Also, a lot of us "senior citizens" support the guy they say is washed up!.... remember Fred Rahmer's rant when he finally won the National Open? ;)

I bought my first Donny shirt last year at Knoxville on Sunday on my way out of town (sprint car fan for 40+ years).  Heard he got fired on Monday.  I was a little annoyed (as I'm sure he was) that the shelf life of that shirt was so short.

I was happy to see him win - I think it is good for the sport to have him in contention for wins.

Better than me buying a Spencer Bayston shirt last year at full price----and then my son buying one the next day at 1/2 off!!  ;)
