I have questions.... If I understand it right, both WoO and H-L tally both driver points and owner points(?) With that in mind, how do some of the following scenarios work out?

Gio Scelzi is out of the WoO KCP #18 car.
--If someone else gets put in the car, there are WoO car owner points awarded, and WoO driver points awarded to  whoever the drives the car- right?

Tyler Courtney is out of the 7BC car due to injury
-When Cole Duncan or Gio Scelzi race the 7BC, they get H-L driver points; the car owner gets H-L owner points?
--Does Courtney get medical provisional points during his absence?
--If Gio races the 7BC car at a WoO points race like the Knoxville Nationals, does he get WoO driver's points?
-does the WoO contract throw everything to the wind if a WoO driver starts racing full time in H-L?

Brad Sweet is going to miss some races due to injuries. He's going to get medical provisional points for a while. Is that for H-L owner and H-L driver points?
--Does he get those H-L driver points if he puts another driver in the car?
--Is Aaron Reutzel in the same points situation as Sweet?

At the beginning of the season, I joked that teams were going to need to add lawyers to their teams in order to keep up. I might not be too far off. ;)

18 KCP car - Car owner points for sure. They currently sit 7th, 2pts ahead of B2 Motorsports. If they get a driver that is currently an Outlaw driver, the driver will earn their driver points as they sit, while KCP will get points as they sit now. Example that will not happen, If Gravel for example went to the 18, KCP does not suddenly jump to 1st in team points. The team basically has 5010pts and will go from there.

7BC - I do not believe they are taking a medical provisional. They are running for the owner championship. They have 1511pts, 12 back from the 49. Where Cole finishes tonight they will use. When Gio drives, he is earning points for CMR. I believe Gio would not get any WoO pts or driver fund money at the end of the year now as he most likely will miss most of the 2nd part of the year. As far as where he would be for HL, not sure what they do in that case. I am sure some of that is part of the agreement with 7BC.

49 & 87 - It appears that both drivers and teams are taking medical provisional. Neither team is going to Lernerville today and they are not using other drivers. I think it may have been KKR's press release that stated that Brad had a concussion and soreness. It all depends on the healing of that. Reutzel is getting his foot evaluated this week and the team can make the call after. Both injuries could be a situation where both may miss just this HL race at Lernerville but at the same time, both could mean that they could miss a handful depending on the severity.
