Fremont has a covered grandstand that's nice to sit under, but I usually sit closer to turn four. The track is a 3/8 mid banked track with some pretty good locals. It gets very dusty and slick at Fremont, but I think the racing is pretty good. If they're running the 305's stay and watch. They pull close to 40 cars a week and the competition is stout.
The Root's shredded chicken sandwich is awesome (messy as well) and they sell Ballreich's which are a local chip company. There's a Fremont Speedway Hall Of Fame on the grounds, which is cool to check out.
Hope you have a good time.
