So I read the thread bitching about the HL races in Perth.  I will admit I watched some of the racing from the first two nights and it was a bit rough, but come on, are y'all really fans of the sport????

Watching the final night right now.  Its a great night and I like everything I see so far.  I give the HL crew the benefit of the doubt, probably jet lag, I have had it myself and I think I saw it in the Flo crew.....Western Australia is truly the end of the earth lol.  And I have to say I love this Perth dirt track, any town in dirt track America would be proud to have such a facility and the racing is GOOD

Getting ready for the A main

What more could you ask for? Winner starting 6th,excellent track, respectful racing, really cool push vehicles.clean pit area I enjoyed it but only watched features starting at 7 CST all three night. They overcame the rubberdown 2nd night let down .Ricos injury a minus and only about 6 HL regulars but I the Aussie regulars are excellent racers I would guess Flo was main sponser. Sounds like Kyle headed for Tulsa . I dont think any US teams except Juhl ? shipped their equiptment down under which would be a large expense plus extra work. This was a one race deal for HL where in past several teams probably like James will race the whole season. Hard to beat a good race around new years

I thought the entire event was great!  I don't really care what the name was on the race, High Limit or not, it was a great event.  Nearly every race I've watched at Perth, or watched highlights on, has been good to great.  Last year's battle with Sweet and Callum was fantastic.

On a side note, I didn't see Paul Silva, Kevin Rumley, Rick Hendrick, Keith Kunz, or Cliff Daniels in victory lane.  Are we to believe Larson is good enough to win without being handed the race by one, or any combination of those 5?  ;)      Larson will win the Indy 500 some day, and it will be strictly because of the car and the wrench I guess?

The dude can win in anything, anywhere.

Larson won! The sport is saved! Hallelujah! Thank you Kyle for saving the sport we all love, albeit enriching yourself in the process...

I have watched a lot of replays of races in Australia, but this was the first time I ever set an alarm to get up at dark and watch an event live!  I believe it was last year's race was the battle between Sweet and Williamson. (?) Perth appears to be a bad-ass racetrack!

I had to laugh after watching the first 2 nights of racing, and then reading all of the comments on social media.  There were a lot of "prediction" threads.  As soon as anyone mentioned Larson, they were immediately ridiculed for being an idiot because he hadn't won either of the first 2 nights, had hit the wall on night 2, and clearly no one had anything for McFadden.  I just had to laugh.  When are these morons going to learn?   Were they not watching the race the previous 2 nights?  It was not that difficult to spot that Larson would be the guy to beat come night 3.  Haven't we all seen this movie enough times before?  If Larson starts a race in the top-12, picking anyone but him as your favorite, seems ridiculous.   It doesn't mean he wins every race, but if you're actually placing odds, he's the guy to beat...................................

Was good to see racing during the off season.  I've been getting up early for the Australia racing for years to watch on durtvision.  Always a few Americans like this year. Was surprised to see a hi limit race with only 1 of this year's hi rollers there but the outlaws and posse and others and of course Larson being there made it special for the aussies  to see some drivers they don't get to see alot.  Good show and looking forward to more racing down under on the aussie streaming side with many us drivers still over there.
