Love the Haudenschilds but that's why he won't be a champion. He'll be spectacular either way though.

Misfortune my butt. I watched him get into the fence a few laps before he crashed, I had a feeling he would keep over driving into that corner and tear it up. His crew has the misfortune of watching another win go away while repairing another car. It's got to be tough as a crew guy to see stuff like that.
I don't go to many WoO shows but this was a good show, a bit pricey for me but it was entertaining. I was amazed at the speeds of the faster teams, really just seemed faster than a regular night.

Can not disagree. Sheldon has had a handful of wins lost by his own mistakes.

Not disagreejng but has anyone counted how many times he did something few others would and gain a position or get a win as the result?
Even though I may not know you, I

Huset's High Bank Nat's 2022, 3rd to 1st on the last lap for $100k was pretty special.
Thanx,

Good point Rod.
He has 8 wins this season. Only Gravel and Macedo have more WoO wins than Sheldon. He didn’t get those wins by playing it safe.
If he changes his driving style he may stop crashing AND winning. His driving style makes him one of the most exciting sprint car drivers to watch,
Sheldon, Don’t listen to those guys !

Or you can make the argument how many more wins would he have if he raced smarter when leading? I like the kid and pull for him but dang he has gave alot of wins away thru the years.

It's not like he was making a bold move to steal victory from the jaws of defeat. He was in the lead cruising, no need to flirt with disaster. That's the part that makes you scratch your head. Read the track, no one is going to make that cushion work to drive by you.

No but if you don't keep the momentum up going around the top someone is damn sure going to get under you. Little Hauds cars was too loose to make any speed on the bottom, he was commited to the top and the the ragged cusion bit him, it happens.
The older I get the faster I was.
All of my hard lessons have been learned at the speed of

I'm afraid that's always gonna be the case with him just like his dad. Fast enough to win any race anywhere against anyone but not consistent enough to win championships. I remember a HoF'er from here saying sometimes you have slow down to be fast.

I remember HAUD at the 02' Front Row Challenge rolling and tumbling down the back stretch, but tried to win it from the back for the Challenge. Driving and "over driving" will cause Sheldon to figure it out, SOMEDAY!
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...
