Steve Sinclair just did a fantasic article about the race enviroment on the IRA website. Is there someone that could post it here on Hoseheads?  It's a must read, unfortunately I don't know how to link it here.

The last paragraph is key.  Any move that is made by any entity (series, track, team, manufacturer, etc.) under the guise of being "good for the health of the sport" must take into account weekly racing.  Moves that only benefit the top 5% of the sport aren't an overall help.

That's what is called "taking it to the next level". Isn't that where everyone wants sprint car racing to be?

God article.  I'm sure there is some "worry for the future" for racing series like the IRA. You can sort of see it come thru a bit in the article.  Best of luck to the IRA.
