The news just broke on Vermeer Motorsports' Facebook page.
It's getting hard to keep track of all of the ride swapping going on this year.

Kerry ran that car before right? Several years ago I think. The Madman is getting older but I think he's still capable.

They raced together for several years in the 2000s. I think from 2004 through 2006 and then once again in 2008 and 2009. They won the Knoxville track championship together in 2005.

A win and 5 top 5's in 6 races at knoxville not is moving forward? Missed one of the features on the outlaw weekend. Maybe not getting enough races.

So who takes the Forbrook ride then? Zomer? Hunter Percent? Or does it sit and just runs the nationals?

This will be interesting to see how this plays out. Forbrooke has not forgotten how to get a car around knoxville. Where is the 55 team going to race will be another big question mark. Hope it works out for all involved but I do have my doubts.

I'm amazed about those who leave the Forbrook car. 55 is probably going to run a lot more races for sure but the 5 wasn't slow at all! Hope someone good gets picked up and given a chance. May work out well for both.
