Wow, what a turn around last night with the track surface from the first race last month for the 410's at BAPS. Went from a tire eating, no passing track, to a thrilling, race any where surface. An excellent show last night, with young guns Dietz and Borden battling it out throughout the race. Danny Dietrich was the show, came from the rear twice to finish 4th. When BAPS is right, it is perfect for sprint car racing. The Gobrechts have really poured a ton of money into the place over the last five years. My only complaint, if I had to be nit picky, is the "BATTLESHIP" of a flag stand. It really cuts down on the sightlines vs a "normal" flagstand. I will be back, and will support the track for their efforts. Can't wait to see the Pa Speedweek race and the World of Outlaws race later this year.
