I just watched it too.  I really enjoyed it.  But I'm not sure if it was a good race?  What were the lap times?  What were the lap times in hot laps, heats and B features?  Like I said, personally I enjoyed the race but I'm not sure if they were running the right lap times to constitute a good race?

I do not know what you are talking about with lap times.  They were going as fast as they could with the track conditions given them.  Of course they were not running laps at the same pace as time trials, the track had dried out as all tracks do.  I am sorry, but I do not agree with you.

I think I can help here linbob.   Mr. Hardon was being sarcastic towards Mr. Strawser who seems to think the racing isn't good unless the track is tacky and lightning fast...

Mr. Hardon beat me to it..................................................................................... ;)   Obviously WAY too slow if there was decent racing.

It is starting to show that Dirt vision and FloRacing subscriptions do have a bad side.

The Racing was Awesome!  The 1st 360 Feature was a dandy also. Garner seems to be on a Mission. Great Job to all...

Did anyone see or hear what happened with Davey Heskin on the back stretch?

Agreed, what was that, like 19 second lap times? Thought I was watching street stocks with wings for a second.

There's a positive and negative to almost everything. Nothing is better than being in person, however there are times when people can't go for various reasons.

I have been able to watch more sprint car races than i have ever been able to do b/c of Flo and DV. I do wish we had more split screen broadcasts showing the leaders and somewhere further back in the pack. I don't know if FLO does this but I can't stand it when the leader crosses the finish line and then the camera is stuck in position on the flag stand so all you see is a blur of a car with the commentary " David Gravel finishes third, with Luke Warmwater in 4th"

Back to the subject again, the racing at Knoxville this past weekend was phenomal. Well ran show, with top notch drivers, facility and people running program. The Dunkins aren't too bad either.

I have not heard of people complain about lap timrs at Knoxville before.  The 19 second lap times are seen at Knoxville Nationals.  No one complained.  It takes more skill to drive a drier track than a tacky track.  Oh, by the way a street stock would be turning 26=28 secon laps.

Haters can watch everything and find all the problems then come here and share their findings. Before ppv we were limited to complaints where people attended in person.

Thinking right front radius rod bolt. Not 100% sure though. - from Sam Heskin via Twitter.

Something broke but I am guessing after the wreckage it was hard to pinpoint exactly what it was and be 100% certain. Scary ride.

I'm not complaining, you're blessed to not be aware of WingedStrawser's constant Port Royal complaining. For those that are, we point out his/"their" hypocrisy from time to time.

Knoxville is my favorite track and the racing on Saturday was awesome. Can't wait for August.

But if Sprint cars are on the track racing, isn't that "Sprint Car Racing"?...........just the facts

or if you don't like the track, do the promoters need to rename the type of race it is to please your holiness?

I'm partial to Knoxville but I've been to a few other dirt tracks in and out of Iowa, and Knoxville is the best in a lot of aspects that I hope people do not take for granted. We're really spoiled at what we have here.

Knoxville is good in soooo many ways.

1. No fillers; all sprints

2. quality cars

3. weekly "invaders"

4. GREAT track prep

5. announcing

6. safety crew

7. lighting

8. concessions

9. grandstands

10. the facility itself

11. well ran

12. suits; and BC tower

13. HOF

14. Next to Dingus

Yeah! Who wants to see sprint cars slide around turns fighting to gain traction, that sounds stupid.
