Interesting move, Ricky Warner leaving TSR and heading to Rico Abreu to be his crew chief in 2022 and run 80% of the Woo schedule in 2022 and build to run whole tour in future per Woo Press Release. Guess I am kind of surprised if you run 80% why not run it all with all the Platinium benefits but money is not usually a problem for them.

Will be interesting who sponsers are. If you want to win It takes alot of money to compete. I doubt R. Warner would go to a team with smallish budget. Top notch engines cost a bunch of money. Tires are a big cost and rear tires are now about $250.00. Hope he does well.

Per the WoO article, sponsors:
The other angle of Rico's hopeful goal to become a full-time Outlaw is delivering the results to companies like Lucas Oil Products, Rowdy Energy, and Curb Records, who have backed him for years.
One wonders which 20% he'd cut out, figure he'd do all west coast 'home' tracks, midwest tracks, that leaves south & east coat/PA/NY tracks as possible missing from the menu. This maybe a tactic to get more sponsorship to do this reamining balance of races and a marketing ploy.

Now, if only we could get Larson, Bell, Kofoid, Courtney and Scelzi to join Abreu on the WoO trail.......
It's only a dream obviously, but could you imagine the night in and night out show these guys would put on...when added to the current WoO group?

It would be awesome for sure. Don't see Larson or Bell taking that kind of pay cut anytime soon though.

What is cool about F1? One last lap pass in several years. A 1 lap race under caution flag with a winner declared. How exciting. Yes, they lined the grid up, ran a lap under caution and declard a winner. As far as I know they have not returned money to people that boughr tickets, I could be wrong.

That has to be T shirt worthy. I like it when Rico comes out to the track and runs around for the fans on his ATV, usually the best part of his night. I gotta get me a mullett hat.

Sorry you didn't catch the sarcasm from a previous thread. I do that stuff sometimes. You can call me names if it makes you feel better

Why? To slow him down so the other drivers can keep up?

I don't think money is an issue with Rico.

Look for Rico to be more consistent and have a good year.Rico is a fan favorite and knows how to stand on gas and Ricky will a key ingrediant in the mix.I know it is much different but watching how Monster Truck drivers promote themselves and their series is something.Maybe a little over the top at times in the category of Rasslin but they sure know how to draw young fans and its not all show as they get pretty crazy
