I have a friend showing up Thursday afternoon at the Nationals this year.  He is bringing his UTV on a trailer.  We are staying at the North Campground.  In the past, he would come out Tuesday or Wednesday and there was always room to park the trailer.  However, the space got tight real fast.  So, my question:  Does anyone know where we could park his trailer on Thursday in the event the campground does not have any room?  Has anyone ever run into this issue before?  Do we dare park it along a residential street somewhere?  Is there someone that would "rent" us a spot in town for the 3 nights?

Thanks in advance for any help

There's the lot just south of the railroad tracks next to the two store house and then straight east of the house that is ran by the same family. They may let you park there if you pay them extra if you're wanting to just let it sit there.

I don't think you'd run into any issues finding a spot if he got into town before 5 pm.

Thanks for the info.  I believe we would be fine as well.  Just want to know what we would do should we not be able to find a spot.  He's never gotten to the campground that late in the week so we've never encountered that before.
