A new crew chief has to be in the works, Madsen QT last night with Tricky Ricky something is just not adding up. I know driving style with the Blue oval and everything but something is amiss .

I don't think the motor is the problem. Something else going on.

It also wouldn't surprise me if we don't see him back on the Outlaw tour.  I could see Donny running the upper-midwest in his late model into retirement.

We have old guys have an off year and come back as strong as ever for coulple years. Something changes and relights the fire just to prove they can still do it before they retire.

The stage has already been set and the system will be rigged for the Knoxville Nationals to be Donny's 300th win.   Then he will announce his retirement in victory lane.    I know for a fact it will happen that way because my wife's uncle's brother-in-law's cousin read it on the internet.   Remember, you heard it here first!

I could see Donny riding off into the sunset playing around with his late model whenever he wants.

I talked to him too.  I didn't believe him until you confirmed it.  ;)

I guess I'll still go to Knoxville and try to enjoy the week

I don't think Schatz would want to leave the WoO on this kind of note. Whether he would leave TSR is another story.

As I have said before, I am not sure the issue is with the engine and I hold no loyalty to one manufacturer over the other. To me the car is not driving like it once was and I am not so sure it's because of the driver. While he is up there in age I guess, I find it hard to believe the fall off in competitiveness is with his age and engine. I think it's on the wrenching going on the car and while Ricky is probably one of the greatest ever, I think it might be wise from TSR perspective to find someone else if there is even a chance of losing Donny. Not to say it's on that person (s) but that's sports & racing. Team was winning, changed crew chief and engines, for financial reasons engines have to stay, so all things point to.....

Wrong again, Will.  But they had to send Gravel, Macedo, and Sweet all to the back to get the win for Schatz. :)

Amazing accomplishment.

Its not about money. The true emotion of winning plus having his parents there showed a side of D.S. that shows you why he is a 10 time champion. 300 wins never gets old and joins two of the best WOO veterans!

Second cousin.   It's not official if it's a 3rd cousin.    Wait a second, I heard Donny won last night.   I've gotta do some investigating.   That may not be my 2nd cousin after all...
