The last eleven laps of the sprint feature after it stated slick off some were great. The first fourteen were a high speed freight train. As far as USAC goes, contrary to what you hear, they don't want the big tracks to be fast.

"It was hard to pass all night" stated winner Jeff Halligan in Victory Lane.

Doesn't mean it was easy. It was Halligan turning the steering wheel, not you...

Lincoln last night had a big curb, Dietz from 22 to 6. Port also races. So the common denominator?
Rain pretty much all week, which made for great track prep at both facilities. So if both these tracks would water a lot when it doesn't rain, we could have consistent great racing at both tracks. So hopefully stop all the whining and complaining.

Actually water wasn't the only factor. It was cloudy and humid all day which gave water a chance to soak in before it evaporated.

I was worried after the heats race since there very few passes after the intial starts. But the feature was pretty good. Actually all 3 features were good.

Yeah when it slicks off and the cushion is up near the fence, PR has the best racing of any 1/2 mile in the country.

Im not a fan of the single lane around the top racing at port either. I know it's hard to get a bottom equal with the top. But it seems like they never try for that.

So you liked not being able to pass in the heat races , which are lined up by the luck of the draw? That dictates the whole night for some teams' night when the track is like that for the heats.

It's OK. They have some good racing for a 1/2 mile but I'm not really a fan of sprint cars trying to keep it straight through the corners. Reminds me of Indy cars or Nascar. I like seeing sprints pitch it in and get a little sideways. Plus you don't see them rubbing the RR on the fence at K'ville.

True. I'd like to see the bottom come into play more often.

After watching time trials at Sharon tonight, as a Pa Posse fan, I will never again complain, bitch or moan about track conditions at Williams Grove, Lincoln, Port Royal, Selinsgrove or BAPS..............they are smacking the wall in time trials, what will track conditions be like by feature time?????

Thank goodness someone said something about that surface. I literally thought there was a caution during heat 1. But we won't hear a peep from frick and frack, dill and weed, dumb and dumber, better known as the two most miserable humans on the face of the earth.

Sharon was terrible, Dale being the all star official and has ownership in sharon could not have been happy with that surface. I turned it off so I didn't see the feature. That's the thing about dirt, sometimes you get it and sometimes you don't.
