Olllies has been absent from the All Stars social media since the start of the season, anybody got any insight on what's going on?

Not sure what you mean.  The All Star's Twitter profile pic still has the Ollie's logo on it.  I remember hearing the name over the PA at Screven when watching over the weekend.  Attica just released their schedule and used the Ollie's name on the nights the All Stars are in town.  Seems to be normal.

The CEO of Ollies passed just over a year ago and it's possible the current leaders don't share his enthusiasm.

I just read the story about the rain out on th All Star page. The text is void of anything Ollies. A couple logos still remain. One would think there would be a signed agreement before hauling the yellow Ollie's trailer out of the shop.

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

It almost sounds like Ollies stepped down from the role of series sponsor and has stayed on as an associate sponsor.  That would explain them still having a presence with the All Stars but not being mentioned every time the announcer speaks:  I had not noticed but it looks like they have pulled back from being the series sponsor.  Somebody get on that and verify.  ;)

I noticed at Screven the other night that as the cars were lining up the 4 wide Ollies was never said. They said presented by Mobile 1. I thought at the time that was odd.

The logo is still on their twitter page and website. I don't see any difference than in years past with their twitter account so not sure what the call out is.

You're missing the point.  Nobody is saying that they're not still involved with the All Stars but if you're watching on Floracing and pay close attention they are not getting Title sponsor recognition.

Sorry Stan but I was reading the original poster's message which said "Olllies has been absent from the All Stars social media since the start of the season, anybody got any insight on what's going on?" So I thought the point was based on their social media, which is why I posted the screen shots of the logos on their social media. Haven't subscribed to FLO and probably won't until around April or May once the season starts so did not know about the absence of their name recognition. Now had the OP stated "Ollies has been absent from being mentioned on Floracing like they used to be" then maybe I would not have replied with the logos.

No worries.  As far as I know we don't have any Ollies in Minnesota so for me it's just an All Star sponsor.  I follow the All Stars on Floracing, it beats sitting through six classes of stock cars and modifieds to see a dozen and a half sprints at the local tracks.  I like not having to drive anywhere so I have become an All Star fan through the broadcasts.  Now with Bill Balog following the All Stars I'll have somebody I know that I can cheer for.  ;)

Sorry Ford but I'm curious and I want to ask a cyber person instead if a cyber machine....

Is this southern series an new thing or just bigger than before?

Is there a significance to the 21st lap.leader or is it a random thing to reward another driver?

Seemed like a lot of passing looking at the twitter,

34 cars tonight and 10 to 15 are different than EastBay, must be a lot sitting in parking lots tonight.

The All Stars have been opening their season in Florida/down south for decades.  This is the first time I can recall though that they've turned it into a mini-series with its own sponsor and point fund.  Since the races don't count toward the season championship I guess it's nice to have these races mean something on their own.

The 21st lap leader contingency is just marketing.  Take the main mini-series sponsor, Sugarlands Shine (as in moonshine), add in the US legal drinking age (21), and there you go.

I think they had done it as a mini series years ago under the old management before Tony bought it. I can't recall if Florida was its own series but I remember one year they had a PA mini series, an Ohio, Great Plains, and then National. As you said, they have opened in Florida for decades but past couple of years it seems they have added more races to the schedule at the beginning of the season.
