Weren't we told watering Wayne Co was pointless, that no matter how much water was used the Ohio surfaces would still be dusty? What did they do last night that was different from the All Star shows that we're so dusty?
Also, why no All Star support last night?

The Pete Jacob's Memorial on Labor Day had been an all star show but they parted ways. This may be why no all star regulars made an appearance.
The PJM ran unsanctioned for 13 or 14k.
All Star drivers did not show up for that either.
The race was excellent drawing quite a few big names and had true outlaw style drivers in attendance. It was very well run and made a great commentary on WCS being able to host a big $ show which they proved at this WoO show.
So maybe no All Stars at WCS in 2021?

That was a great win by Sheldon. The crowd kept chanting "Sheldon Sheldon Sheldon" when he was in victory lane and the DirtVision cameras panned the crowed and displayed their excitement.
Then Sheldon was leading last night by a long shot but blew a tire with about 2 to go.

It was still dusty especially if you were to look at my cooler after the feature or the amount of dirt all over everyone. Not as bad as years past & nothing to be of concern for those of us that are use to it. Not sure how it looked on dirtvision vs being there. WCS did post a pic yesterday showing the track was still wet & tacky so they probably did dump more water than usual.
Not sure what the deal is with All Stars & WCS. Few people have said it surrounded the dust issue, others have said a separate incident, and then some weird conspiracy theories. They were scheduled to have a race on 9/6 but dropped the date because of said issue. No All Stars were at Lernerville last night either so could be equipment concerns or saving it for next weekend at the grove before their finale the following week

I dont think they have more than 6 full time all star drivers left from what I read on another board and just looking at the current points. It's pretty much the Aaron Reutzel show these days for points.
Tony will keep them busy at Eldora, attica, fremont and all the other new tracks this year.
WCS if you sit in T 4 you will always get dusted. It's the design. I was left of flagstand and got very very minimal. Just enough you could feel it but not see it on you.
Plus you have to realize you are closer to track than places like Attica.

On their Facebook page WCS uploads videos with the owner/promoter talking and they're usually pretty good and candid. Anyway they pretty much confirmed the Reutzal rumors on the most recent one (they laughed about how Reutzal was their "good buddy"). We'll see what the schedules look like for 2021- hard to believe it was just 14 months ago WCS really did a lot for speedweeks hosting a show with barely any notice. Its really a shame, right when the ASCoC patch things up with one Ohio track (Fremont) this comes up with a different one.

They've been using calcium for months now. Everything that falls from the air turns to mud on everything it lands on. Track was great saturday. Too bad Tony wouldn't let the Allstars show up.The 26 and 87 cars were crying about the dust is why they don't have any shows. I was told that by Jason himself.

Reutzel and Eliason are the only All Stars left that have a chance at a top 10 with the Outlaws.

Wasn't Reutzel upset that Cap Henry beat him too?
Wasnt the race director also unhappy with stuff?
Stories floating around.
WCS went all out for the all stars the past year and above and beyond and treatment at start of season was not expected from the sanction.

Correct and I saw the same post and for the most part the conditions were fine on saturday other than the seating arrangements, or lack thereoff. I Just saw some other posts of people covered up in hoodies and comments from individuals about Ohio track conditions being dusty and others saying things about not having water trucks, etc. In one of the posts they made it showed the track was still wet & tacky the morning after so they did a good job in that aspect. Its just depending on who watches the race or goes to it seems that the slightest spec of dust and it is the end of the world.
The fact that it was about 30+ degrees cooler with no humidity played a factor because usually when the All Stars visit WCS it is 90-100 degrees with about 100% humidity. I think conditions have greatly improved at WCS the past handful of years. Remember going to an April show there in about 2015 and could not see the backstretch but since then it really has not been an issue. The current operators do a good job, unfortunately for me everytime I try to go there something either comes up or it gets rained out. My only issue is that if they are going to have events like that then they need to get more seating somehow. I get the cost associated with that but the amount of people standing by the fence constantly being told to move, and the standing in front of people's view did not make things ideal. The event was great and I enjoyed everytihng, I just hope there is more seating if they are going to do events like this again in the future.
