Here’s a big chunk of the event details:
>The All Star Circuit of Champions (ASCoC) ‘Thunder Through The Plains’ tour will be taking place at nine tracks in this region spanning June 4th through June 14th, with the Monarch Motor Speedway leg taking place on June Friday June 12th. Go to www.AllStarSprint.com for tour details.
>ASCoC officials are expecting full fields of 410C.I. sprint cars for this event, including headliners such as Brock Zearfoss Racing, Cory Eliason Racing, Skylar Gee Racing, Sam Hafertepe Jr., Paul McMahan Racing, Justin Peck Racing, Aaron Reutzel Racing, Greg Wilson Racing, Tony Stewart…and a host of others. The tour has been averaging right at 27 ASCoC teams for 'Thunder Through the Plains' competition, and similar car counts are expected for Monarch on June 12.
>Advance discount tickets are on sale now at www.MMSdirt.com through Thursday June 11th and are just $28 for adults ages 12-54, with kids ages 6-11 $5. Advance ticket holders can get in the grandstands at 5pm (30 minutes early). You can also purchase advance pit passes now.
>On race day June 12th, Adult grandstand prices are $30 Adults (ages 12-54), $5 Kids (ages 6-11), with Seniors, Military and First-Responders $25. General grandstand admission opens at 5:30pm.
>Pit Passes are $40. Pits for ages 12 and under are $20. Pit gates open at 3pm.
>Hot laps and ASCoC time trials will take place around 7:30pm with racing to follow, around 8pm. (Time may be adjusted just a tick based on the sun position in the sky as we near race time.)
>The previously scheduled event at Monarch Motor Speedway on Friday June 12th is being updated to the following due to this change: the USRA Limited Modifieds will now be racing for $1,000 to win. The 3-division racing card that night will wrap up with the Texas Dirt Truck Series, as they make their first-ever MMS appearance. For more series rules, visit Texas Dirt Truck Series on Facebook. All other MMS divisions are scheduled off on June 12th.
