I'm just sitting here taking in the sun and "warmth" of the upper midwest and it's making me anxious.
I am closing my eyes and picturing pulling into Knoxville in August. The pits and the stands are full and I have heartburn because I just put an Iowa Tenderloin on top of the 10 beers I drank at Dingus. I'm broke because I just blew $200 on shirts, hats, and sprint car simulators. (and the 10 beers at Dingus) My feet are sore from walking from the campground in my sandels. I have sunburn and could use a change of shirt. (I just put on a new one from my souvenir bag so now I'm good) The sky to the west is clear, and the track prep is perfect----3 wide racing by the 2nd or 3rd heat.
I'm hoping the vision I'm having is of the 2020 Nationals and not the 2021 Nationals.
