Just a shout out to one of the few Canadians living a 410 dream. Skylar Gee with quick time a dash win and a feature win. Must be a pretty happy kid tonight. Congrats Skylar.

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Pretty awesome run for the Canuck.

Man, the Posse took a beating from the All Stars this weekend. What gives? BRR or cubicdollars have a live report?

Great to see Gee win, love seeing new, young guys get the W. But to say the Posse took a beating isn't really true. At Linky the Posse took 7 of the top 10, Feature #2 at WG the Posse took the top 7 spots, Feature #1 they took 3 of the top 5 and Grandview the Posse took 3 of the top 5. Did they only win one of the main events so far, sure, but beating, far from it.  And before you say I'm a Posse homer, I'm not. My favorite driver is from Germantown, TN.   I have no love affair with the Posse, never have. But definitely a great showing by the All Stars and some good runs from Posse cars too, like Krimes 18th to 6th. Can't wait for the Tusky 50.

The ASCoC are as good as they've ever been as far as quality and central PA is currently weaker than it's ever been. The ASCoC guys have been winning a fair amount of races in PA over the past 5 years or so. Since they started going back to Grandview, I actually think the All Stars have won the majority of the races. Could be wrong on that one but I'm pretty sure I'm right. Either way, It was only a matter of time until they got a win at Williams Grove. If you look at all the guys who have raced there as card carrying ASCoC members, you'll see that many of them have won shows there in races not sanctioned by the All Stars. Take Tim Shaffer for instance. He raced there how many times as an All Star yet never won any of them yet he has 2 wins there both against the WoO. One was as an outlaw regular driving for Roth and the other was just last month. Hell Keith Kauffman is a multi time track champion and has 50+ career wins there yet never won an All Star race in any of the years that he was racing as a series regular. Kenny Jacobs won some races there too. That streak was just as much luck as it was skill for the Posse. It's amazing that it lasted so long.

Just a non sprint question....

I always thought "Canuck" meant French Canadians... is it used to describe all Canadians now? or maybe Gee has a French background?

It did. It applied to Dutch Canadians as well. Now its a colloquialism used to describe any Canadian, similar to how we Americans are occassionally referrered to as Yankees or Yanks in the foreign press.

Interesting when you consider Vancouver's hockey team is called the Canucks & Montreal's is called the Canadians

steelcityguy-----Since you are not Posse fan, so this is not aimed at you.  It is aimed at the many posters of the past.

If a Posse driver wins when the Outlaws come to town, and 9 of the top 10 are Outlaws, the Posse dominated.

Hence, thus, therefore, the Posse were dominated by the All-Stars.  End of story.

No sweat, I get what you are saying. There are some very annoying Posse chest pounders on here.
