Saw news last night about a fire at the Days INN in Newton IA which is an area some teams normally stay for the Nationals. My buddy and I stayed there 2 years ago and I know there are several people that stay there for the Nationals.
Hope everyone is ok and safe. Not sure if any of the hotels around it was effected either. I know Greg Wilson posted a picture so hopefully they are ok as they normally stay in the hotel a few doors down from Days INN. If you know anyone staying there you may want to let them know just in case they have not been notified.

Just seen a few photos of it but no news updates. For sure this unfortunately will affect lodging for some.

I'm not going to Nationals but have stayed there for some of the weekly shows. I wonder how many rooms got taken out by the fire? I would expect that they'll contact people with reservations and hopefully even line something up for them.

From what Greg Wilson tweeted, I would guess the whole hotel is probably lost for the weekend. He said the hotel manager was trying to find him to move his rig.
I stayed there 2yrs ago & I think Greg's team was staying at the hotel before. The picture he tweeted had a lot of smoke. Hopefully they are able to accommodate & no injuries
