Powers Leads NCRA Modified Division to Kansas State Fairgrounds This Saturday Night!

 

Park City, Kansas – April 24, 2019 - Three-time and defending tour champion Dan Powers of Wichita, Kanas will lead the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Mel Hambelton Ford Racing modified division to the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kansas this Saturday night (April 24) in a rare non-nationals event.

Powers took advantage of race leader Ryan Gustins’ flat time on the last lap of this past Saturday night’s event at 81 Speedway in Park City to take the victory.

Drivers Brian Franz, Cody and Bryce Schniepp, Tyler Davis, Scott Green, Joe Cleveland, Josh Lanterman, Brandon Massey, Marc Hurd, Jake Nightingale, Ross Shipman, Jason McGehee and more are all expected to compete.

Gates will open at 4:00 PM with race action set for a 7:00 PM start time.

Grandstand admission is just $20 for adults while kids eleven and under will be admitted into the grandstands for free. All pit passes are $35.

You can get advance tickets and save $2 per ticket at the Hutchinson O’Reilly Auto Parts store under the name of “Salt City Assault.”

Also on the racing card is the series crate late model and sprint car divisions.
