Tanner Thorson was injured in a car wreck early this morning in California. It looks like he rearended a semi entering a work zone. Non life threatening injuries but it says that he has multiple broken bones.

That was the Tri C team of Clyde Lamar, one of the top teams in the state. Thorson was on the way home from the Las Vegas WoO show and was very lucky to survive that wreck. As the pictures show the truck was completely destroyed while the trailer had burns on the front end.

Are the extent of his injuries just broken bones? I haven't seen much other than people saying how lucky he is... yet I've seen no update from him or his family. Hoping he made out as good as everyone is thinking.

According to a press release from USAC he had surgery Monday evening on a fractured left arm and fractured right foot, other injuries were a cracked sternum, several broken ribs and a punctured lung. They said there were no life threating injuries.
