Charles Evans III is the founder of CRE Promotions and Director of the Deep South Ultimate Super Late Model Series bought Red River Speedway just about a week ago and has renamed the 3/8 red clay oval Monarch Motor Speedway.
“We got out here and sure enough it's the real deal. It was worth buying and investing into. So now we're going to turn it into something that everybody out here is proud of to call their home track.”
The dirt racing track has passed through the hands of several owners, but Evans, a native of Alabama, has faith that he will grow it into a venue where some of the best racers and loyal fans from across the US will want to come.
The track will host special events in 2019.
