Joey Saldana and Donny Schatz are the most lethal back-to-back Rookies of the Year in WoO history.
With a current combined win total (Saldana 105 and Schatz 282) of 387 victories, those lucky enough to watch these two drivers
will surely appreciate it later in life.
Obviously the Big 3 were all rookies in 1978, but that is a different thread.
These drivers are historical figures and glad to witness some of their greatness.

Interesting thought, but wouldn't the combined total of Steve Kinser and whoever came right after him have more WoO wins? ;) (I know.)
Anyone else wonder why there was no WoO rookie of the year named some years? Wouldn't it be based on the highest points finish of that year's rookies, or is there more criteria involved?

maybe no rookies those years. WOO only has 1 rookie this year (Ion Madson), so he will win it.

;) I know. Steve never won rookie of the year. In spite of that, I think he did OK. Sammy and Doug nevefr won rookie of the year either.
