I figure since it's the off-season and there's already 3 "Silly Season" threads going, then it must be time for a 4th. I've heard rumors that Steve Kinser is not coming out of retirement and Richard Petty is not starting a WoO team. Speaking of the WoO, I've heard rumors they are not closing shop and moving overseas. Twinkies will not be a major sponsor of a name-brand sprint car racer in 2019. What other rumors have you not heard so far?

I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night, but I did look it up on Dictionary.com:
Adjective
characterized by bitter or scornful derision; mocking, cynical, sneering.
I'll leave it up to you to decide if that was to be a compliment or an insult. I guess we'll get more clarification when someone starts a Silliest season thread. ;)

I viewed your post as humourous as well. Frequently at this time of year, indiviuals will have a thought, which turns into a hope, then a rumour regarding their favorite drivers.
