No question Gravel is a contender. Not many can say they passed the 15 car.Davey Heskin put on the best show of the night. The fans got their moneys worth.Schatz still the one to beat but it can happen as Gravel showed tonite. For some reason the 15 is harder to beat the bigger the purse.

Wow!  The forecast looked so dire, we almost headed back home this morning.  Glad we didn't!   Just got back to hotel in Newton.  What a fantastic night of racing..  That track was absolutely perfect!  Great job Knoxville and WoO getting that one in!

Calm down calm down the nationals is whole different animal. 15 likely doing some research and development....test and tune. Don't think the nationals is going to go down like that. If Lynton Jeffery did not crash Friday it looked as if he may win also.

It appears that he could have done just that last night.  There were not a bunch of potholes on the bottom like there were at the Nationals last year.

Hopefully it'll be a little better this year on the last night.    I don't doubt for a second that Gravel will have the speed.    Hoping Madsen and Brown will be in the thick of it too.

I should probably add Larson's name to that, but I don't even know if he's racing that Nats this year?

Yep, he was pounding the cushion pretty hard.   I know at least one time he had all four wheels off the ground and I think Schatz said he saw him do that twice.

You are correct, my memory is not what it once was.  The potholes were further up the track especially in turn three.
