Good racing. Wish we had racey bullrings like that in PA. We have it good but I think we're kinda stuck in the past with all the big strung out, motor eating half-miles. Anything a tad smaller than a 1/2 is considered short track in PA. lol

Thanks Johnny Yuma....
I've only been to Susky once, but it was racy as hell for USAC midgets last summer

Totally agree. I used to be a total fan boy of our big half miles until I got out of posse land a bit and that really opened my eyes. I think we have come to the point where modern sprint car racing has sort of evolved to where those half miles have become out dated. One thing is for sure, I don't care much for the big tracks anymore. The speed is cool but the bullrings are where it's at.

agreed

When I started going 8 years ago, I wanted wings & big tracks. Watching Kokomo USAC videos got me curious

Haubstadt convinced me... now I go to Indiana for a few races every summer

Path & Susky are my faves in Pennsyltucky now

But I've never really got the "bullring vibe" at Grandview... could that be cause its set up as a modified track?

Mod tracks in Upstate NY are boring as could be for sprint cars

We do have some great bull rings out here in California that produce some great drivers!  :) Going to Placerville this weekend, which is one the smallest and best tracks! Not a fan of big tracks myself, but I can appreciate the beauty of Calistoga, being our biggest 1/2 mile.

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting
racecars on dirt!
