What's up with the late model guys wrapping their tires in plastic wrap? Has anybody seen this before? Why don't the sprint car guys do it? I saw this for the first time at Willams Grove last night.

Some do some don't. It supposed to help hold the oils in the tire so they don't dry out and get hard. I see guys do it in modifieds all the time. Some just use tire prep ;)
