Please be aware--For as long as I can remember (many years)  I've used the user name "badger boy" on this Hoseheads Forum.  To prevent any confusion my name is Larry Janicsek and as of 7:30 a.m. today I'm still alive.  My condolences to the friends and family of Badger Boy--Jim, who (per Patrick L's post ) passed away this weekend.   L. J.

Sorry for the confusion! I obviously did not have his user name correct. I am a keyboard virgin jus trying to pass along some sad news. Hopefully I can get the correct information and pass it along. Once again I apologize to you,Larry

Jim Langel out of Luck, WI, is the one that passed on Saturday night.  Just found out this am and watching for visitation info.  His sister posted that his entire wardrobe is sprint shirts and encouraged everyone to wear one to visitation.

Jim was a great ambassador for the sport and a big fan who made many trips to see racing around the country.  I had the honor of knowing him well and sitting with him several nights at Cedar Lake.  He will be missed!

His visitation is Friday in his hometown of Luck, WI.  I don''t recall the name of the funeral home but time is 4-7pm.  Luck is one of those town with a couple dozen house, two bars and a couple filling stations so it should be easy to find.  WI 35 Goes through town.  I'm off on Friday so will try to get up there if I can get away.  Contractor coming that day.
