We had 62 360 winged sprint cars at Placerville last night with the new SCCT series and the pits were full(plus 31 non wing sprint cars). The stands sold out, first time I've seen this for a non Outlaw show, even had some Nascar people come to see a dirt race because Kyle was there.
Qualifying, 5 12 and 13 car heats(take three to the A), two C mains, one B main(7 to main), two 6 car Dashes and then the 22 car A main. That was a lot of racing for my $15 senior rate to get in. Some of the best heat racing I've seen in years and as the night went on the track got slicker and slicker(with that many cars) then rubber started being put down. We had a lot of fast cars and Kyle put it in victory lane with no one coming up to give him a fight for first.
It's amazing to see Kyle Larson get back in a sprint can and get out there like he's been doing this type of racing ever week. Kyle is so much fun to see race on dirt that we go see him when ever we can when he's on dirt.
