Jackson Motorplex’s IMCA Stock Car Nationals Postponed to Sunday
Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (Sept. 24, 2016) – A Saturday afternoon storm that engulfed Jackson Motorplex has forced the IMCA Stock Car Nationals featuring the Doug Cellan Memorial Race to be postponed until Sunday.
The remainder of the event, which features the A Main for the After Hours Graphics & Tees IMCA stock cars as well as full programs for the Wilmont Oil IMCA a mods and Liquid Nitro IMCA 305 sprint cars, will kick off at 5 p.m. The pits are scheduled to open at 2 p.m. with the front gates opening at 3 p.m.
Tickets and/or wristbands from Saturday’s show apply to Sunday’s race.
Half of the season finale event was completed on Saturday afternoon as Doug Smith captured the Bohl’s Small Engine & Marine IMCA sport mods main event with Justin Luinenburg claiming the Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA hobby stocks A Main and Jay Devries picking up the Boji Bay Water Park IMCA sport compacts triumph.
