Despite having Danny Lasoski as an uncle, the Missouri native came from a family where he had to earn his way into a racecar, and to the track, especially Knoxville. He went from driving for other car owners, to being fired, to being hired, fired again, and eventually, he built one of the most formidable teams in the country from the ground up.
