Does anyone remember the last time the WoO were at Millstream? I think it was a night that Steve Kinser was leading and had a nozzle line come off. Under caution Sammy kept pulling up and motioning to Steve about the line. Steve ignored him until the car actually caught fire. Steve stopped to have the fire put out and the line was fixed. He returned from the tail and drove like God almighty had been put in the car. Got up to second and probably would have easily passed Sammy oin one more lap but instead he put a bad slider on and took them both out. Towed to the pits and Karl was cussin and carrying on about it and chained the front axle to the frame so he could finish the last few laps. One of the best races ive seen!

Steve Kinser actually won the last 2 WoO races at Millstream (1990 & 1994). 1989 was the last time Steve DIDN'T win at Millstream: Dave Blaney on June 11, Doug Wolfgang on August 6.
