Absolutely the best show I've been to in years. When there is a cushion magic things happen. When there isn't they don't. A foot tall cushion after a hundred laps sounds like a dream in this day and age and it happened last night. No pizza, no honey mustard for the chicken strips, no mayo for the chicken sandwich, no candy (they should call the snack bar Triple X) and exit chained shut 30 minutes after the race is fine if they prep the track and let some cool stuff race. Watching a Ford powered car built by an American family that has commited their entire lives to the sport mow down every chev and toy but one was interesting as well.
There is simply little need for dangerous chinese "outlaw" cars anymore if they're going to put a million restrictions on them anyways. The big cars showed last night we can have a great safe show with the right rulebook and a watered race track. Clauson did very well but should have won with such a superior piece:) Hopefully Matt Wood puts a Ford in Bryan's WoO car some day.
There is still hope for dirt track racing in what's left of our country.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?
