Some guys run wings with different offsets so perhaps that is an adjustment they made. Maybe one wing has a 1" wicker and the other has the 2" wicker. Just a couple of theories.

If it was just the wicker they probably would've just changed that.  Now if it was a different offset that also had a different wicker maybe (or just a different offset).  Just wicker, they probably just change that.  Might've saw something in the track, their starting position, etc. that they thought would beneift from the change in wings.

Wicker bills tend to be removable with just a couple of dzus buttons. Kinda silly to pop rivet that thing on there permanently.

I have no idea why they're doing it but likely it's a different offset. The one they run in time trials is probably one that they feel provides more raw speed in clean air and then the other wing is best in race conditions. Whatever it is, they should just keep doing it because the 69K is unstoppable right now.

They could very well be exactly the same but by having one painted and one unpainted, it makes you think there are different. Possibly a mind game. Either way by having Kreitz, Brown and Dewease teamed up, these guys should be a front running car every night out. By racing less, their equipment stays fresh longer and allows them more time to do preventive maintenance.

There are time trial wings that are lighter in weight but will not stand up in racing.  They used to be used more  in past than today.
