lol ... The love fest between Mike & Mike almost brought me to tears.

Take it as you wish. I've been sick and tired of Mikey's statements for years. You're not going to change his mind and he's not going to change ours. I'm sick of the whole thing - I've been sick of reading the same statements for 10 years now. If you feel the need to waste your time, have at it! It won't get you anywhere. It's been like this for 10 years and I don't see any change in the near future. I'm just going to put in my earplugs and enjoy sprint car racing without all the BS. I've had enough...

Have fun!

I USED to claim Greg wasn't Posse, when he LIVED in Memphis while driving a Posse car, BIG difference. When he won those two shows in Charlotte and less than an hour away in Tunica, MS.he was not living in Posseland, that has changed with his marriage etc. Greg learned his trade on the road and deep in my heart/head he will always be an Outlaw, I hope he has a great year, he's capable.

Those guys I mentioned were driving at Knoxville on a weekly basis, not that it really matters, Johnny is the closest thing to an exemption there but I think he only won one time anyway.

It ain't about the money at the Kings Royal, it is the EVENT. It draws the second biggest crowds of the year and just like the World 100 is the IT race of the year for Late Models it's the 2nd best for Sprints. We have to respect history somewhat, wouldn't you agree?

If you wanted to address something in my statement then I wish it would have been why PA hasn't produced any consistant winnrs on the road since Stevie. But let's forget that, this thread will never end as I debunk every excuse you can come up with, lol. That's almost 20 years, a very long time. Take It Easy.....

PS Hey hardrive, how's things around Lernerville....

Mike, you always say that PA hasn't produced any winners on the road since Stevie and Kevin G., but that's not a fair argument. What guys has PA put on the road that have failed miserably? Bob Bennett? LOL

You always like to point out that the Knoxville regulars get good, then take to the road. But there isn't another 410 track within six hours of Knoxville. Two years ago, Rahmer was the third highest earning Sprint Car driver in the country. Why spend life on the road when the top drivers in PA make nearly as much as every Outlaw driver other than top three or four in points and whoever wins Knoxville?

Based on head-to-head results in Pennsylvania over the past 15 years, I would say Dewease and Rahmer are, at the very least, the equal of Jeff Shepard. When you look at the different places Shepard has won during years he was traveling, it would be foolish to say Dewease and Rahmer couldn't win on the road.

If you want to say Rahmer fluked into Knoxville wins the past two years, fine. But Dewease has won at Oskaloosa and went to Knoxville and took it to the regulars from 12th.

Brian Paulus was a mid-pack car in central PA and he usually wins a race or two on the road with the Outlaws.

Tim Shaffer spent an entire season racing in central PA and didn't even win one race.

You make it sound like Rahmer or Dewease would be Dion Hindi and Becca Anderson on the Outlaw trail.

I hear ya Zortman ... I was just making fun of his sucking-up to you.

He trashes our drivers and friends to no end then acts like he is your best buddy. He blames people for getting personal when everything he says is personal when you actually know the people.

I got on here for the first time in a while just to see what was going on in Florida. Then I see this topic and his clucking about the 360's ... I just felt the urge to say something because it was so uneducated and off base. I knew it was going to be a total waste of time and that we would all hear his Travel-Eldora-Grandview-Port Royal theories all over again.

The internet has given guys like him a stage to perform and they are taking full advantage of it.

Your right, after 10 years this show is getting pretty old. Glad I only tune in every once in a while.

He claims to be friends with all of these WoO guys , but actually when you ask them about him , they roll their eyes and say how they really feel . It's the same when you talk to guys that have been out on the road for years working on traveling teams , I never heard ANYONE make a good comment about him . Maybe that's why he quit the "trail" ? I know in PA , the last time he was in , He was a TRUE loner for the weekend . He showed up in his shiny red car and parked it for everyone to see , but all everyone did was laugh at him . Oh well , he can be a good guy , but he just doesn't know how.

Stay in Canada buddy , we don't need all of your expert knowledge down here.

all you guys should really stop. There's arguments to both sides. There is a reason the local PA guys are more competitive against WoO than anywhere else and it's not just talent........$$$$$ has a whole lot to do with that. At the same time why should those same PA drivers feel the need to travel when they are able to race almost 100 nights a year at multiple tracks within a short distance, which they are able to do because of fan support. Man I thought I had a lot of time on my hands but after seeing this I realize it could be worse.

MSPN, you must be retired man. Whether you r right or wrong all you are doing is antagonizing everyone. I say that with respect as I don't think we have disagreed often before, and it's better than what I would have to say to most of what the people in this thread post the majority of the time. Dude just let them have their racing up there on their own planet.....trying to explain to them that there is racing in other parts of the nation is a completely foreign notion to most of em. And could you really blame them? If any of us outsiders had that good of racing in our own backyard most of the year almost all of us would be that way. To an extent at least.

Man I can't beleive you guys are still at it. BRR did you print this out and run it through your statitiscal generator? If you have counted how many times someone has posted and said certain words you really have to much time on your hands. Migetman-Some people were born debate club wanna be's (I'm one of them) and can argue both sides of the coin depending on who takes the bait first. There should be professional tournaments for who can hook the biggest. You would win someone allot of money. Mike-Your killing me. Ease up on these guys or your going to cause someone a stroke or heart attack.

Thanks for providing me with a few days of entertainment. Racing season doesn't start for another week for me.

Can someone get me another BOCK its getting awful dry her in CA.

Ok, I just have to say this- The posse drivers also have another reason for not traveling. Most of them ( including Fred) have a regular day job that they work at. Most of the teams crews also work a regular day job that is not related to the racing part of their lives.

Plus there is the fact that they can work, play and earn right in their own back yard and still have time for family and everything. Seems like a perfect set up to me. ;)

LMAO, to think the racing really hasn't started yet, what is gonna happen when the Outlaws really pound the Posse this year, oh my!!!

John, midgetbrain hasn't made a decent point in here and is not smart enough to make one. There is a lot of jealousy from the Posse peeps but there always has been. I merely point out the obvious and they refuse to accept it, plain and simple.

Singlefile, you missed a very good point, but I'm not surprised. Lance had the single biggest lead I have ever seen (since 92) at a preliminary night at the Nationals last year, he had them covered and it was very impressive, something broke it appeared but it certainly wasn't his fault.

Okc, these cheerleaders are just frustrated because theycan't beat the big dogs anywhere but the Grove and history tells us that. There are some rare exceptions but that happens elsewhere as well, like Kevin Swindell winning as a 16 year old last year, oops.

It boils down to them taking it personal and then I can really laugh, I got 'em covered there too, lol. I am surprised this won't die because they are really wanting me to continue this rant during Florida which over the last 3 years has been the ultimate Posse disaster. Their wins down there have all but dried up since Dollansky, McCarl, Lasoski and McCarl became Florida regulars, oops.

I wonder what three words will start the next round of crying, moaning and groaning. I honestly never believed that Nice Posse Representation would have caused this much. Sensitive doesn't describe the reaction or over-reaction, isn't there enough other problems in the world for them to be concerned about. Remember a wise man once said, Don't worry about things you can't control......

What are we supposed to be jealous of? All of the Knoxville and California locals that travel and beat the Outlaws on a regular basis?

How many Posse fans do you hear trashing the Knoxville or California guys when they don't beat the Outlaws or don't win on the road? I would NEVER do something like that because I have respect for anybody who straps on a helmet. You act like you do, but your comments prove otherwise.

We are frustrated because our guys can't beat the Outlaws on the road? We're not ... YOU ARE! You are the one who always brings it up.

Practice what you preach ... Don't worry about things you can't control......

Mijetman - You are missing the point entirely. He does it because you do it. That has been the whole basis for argument for quite a while now. You feed Mike, he feeds you. And by you I mean the collective Posse fan.

Now since you mentioned being tired of hearing it all the time so do we:

About the FOAW comments and the Posse being the best. I would agree that they have a very good win percentage at home compared to other parts of the country. There is a reason for that -- Your best stay there. The reason doesn't matter. In fact it is good for you because you get to continue watching the same guys year after year. This does not make them the best in the country though. If you want to compare who has the best drivers from what state -- add up all of the wins by drivers from each state and see which state comes out on top. You could even leave Kinser, Swindell and Lasoski out to even the playing field. Surely someone has the stats (*and time) to do this.

The midwest and west coast drivers/teams that get good enough to beat the WOO join them and prove they can beat them anywhere in the country on any track. For some they wind up the best and for others they find out they were not so good afterall and go home. The same can not be said for PA drivers because for the most part they don't tour with WOO.

Nothing wrong with teams "staying home" and running the same tracks every week. Should make for great local racing. In fact, I am planning my first trip to Williams Grove in July and hope to see all this great competition for myself.

One more reply..............sorry. ;)

To all who say that the POSSE fans claim/say/state/type that our hometown boyz are the worldwide best, or are better than any circus traveler, or any Midwest/Ohio racer, or any racer anywhere else in the country...........show me (That means you Mikey). Cut and paste a quote. FOAW.......yes. Better than anyone else..........nope. Show me........it's that easy.

If you care to look back through the subject, you'll see that I entered this thread because Nelligan took a cheap shot at POSSE racers for not being at the 360 race in FL........when in fact they were there, and finished in the top 10. No thin skin, no crying, moaning or groaning..........I simply wanted to point out to him that he was wrong...........AGAIN. Once the egg was cleaned from his face, the insults, name calling, etc. started........and like a donkey I fall into his downward spiraling debate.......my bad. But I'm vested now.........gotta see it through.

I don't feel the need to justify anything to Mike. The criteria he sets up about travel is important to he and he alone. Make no mistake, I'll point out when the expert makes an innacurate, uneducated statement.

As I told ya Mike..........keep your facts and insults accurate and ya won't have to listen to your friends complain about obnoxious POSSE fans like me.

Drak - You don't really have to have said it ... you just have to in some way "implied it" according to his criteria.

This is hilarious. Nelligan you and the posse fans together is like James Carvel (sp), a democratic shil for those who don't know him getting stuck on an elevator with a bunch of republicans, the outcome just can't be pretty, but it will certainly be entertaining.

The PA pride is great and the fact you support your racers is awesome. It's amazing though how you all watch basically the same 20-22 cars race week in week out on the same three tracks, and try to convince the rest of the world you have the best racing.

Within 2 hours of my house, western Ohio, I have about 12 different tracks running winged & non-wing, sanction (USAC, WoO, All Stars) and non sanction, both winged and non winged, and I wouldn't trade with you people for any reason.

It's great you enjoy what you have, just stop trying to tell the rest of us how much better it is than what we have, truth is you have no idea what you're missing. The promoters over there have it made, "we'll just call this weeks race a different name than last weeks race and these poor fools will never figure out it's the same show they've been seeing for years." That must be a real challenge for them. When I think about what best describes this situation, hard up comes to mind.

Livin' the dream.......

LOL ... James Carville ... now that is funny!

When people say the best, I think they are only referring to their record against the Outlaws ... at only one track of course.

Not the best variety of racing.

Now I can't get Carville's bald melon and squeeky voice out of my head ... thanks. lol

here's a legit question for the Posse fans that I've often wandered.

What track up there is best in your opinion? I don't mean the most cars or anything like that I mean Track prep, racing surface, passing, you know........the best TRACK.

I've never been to any of them but it sounds to me like it is NOT the Grove. Could it be Port Royal? Lincoln? Selinsgrove?

Overall, I like The Grove the best as far as just being at the track and the overall quality of the show from start to finish. The pits are easy to get to and the infield is nice. But, the action on the track can be rather uneventful from time to time. You also get all of the top dogs compared to Saturday night when they are split up. Lincoln probably has the best action on the track. I'm just not a big fan of the other divisions they run and the pits seem to be a mile away. But that doesn't matter to most people. They all have their ups and downs, each track is a unique experience, but I think are all worth the price of admission.
