Heard a bunch of times this weekend at the Grove that Joey and Dale Blaney are just swapping rides.

I would like to see JMO the following drivers back on Woo Tour Full time- Haud; Pittman; Dude ; Shane Stewart; so anyone one of these drivers would suit me just fine and of Course to see Joey Saldanna get a full time ride back with Woo !! Few more I forgot Jason Meyers; Mark Kinser; bring back the Woo they way it used to be with around 16-18 full time drivers !

After watching Haud at the grove lastt weekend. It sure would be cool to see the hall of famer back in a ride like this. He has not lost a thing and he had everyone in that joint just shaking there heads in amazement.

During the heyday of the WoO (1980's and early 1990's) they had 7-8 full time travelers...

More full-time teams only hurts the WoO (local cars aren't coming if the "perception" is that they are running for 15th place on back everywhere).

If they were back to 7-8 full-timers like they were in the 80's and early 90's, you'd see more local cars running up front REGULARLY when the WoO were in town. This creates CONFIDENCE for the local teams (whether it be in the East, South, Midwest, West), and you see guys travel to shows that they don't travel to today (cheaper fuel prices would make a HUGE difference as well).

Absolutely agree. I got my $$$ worth this weekend just by watching Jac. That was the best "The Wild Child" has run at Williams Grove in years!!!. Kind of how Brian Monteith runs there weekly, although for some reason, we didn't see much from "The Edge "this weekend.

I saw what you are talking about with "The Edge" in his heat on Saturday night. Just like Haud kind of scary and a little out of control, but bad ass fast. Great nickname for Monteith!

Heard Dale talk on one of the local radio shows here in Ohio and he said that he and George were still unsure if TI22 was going to be back with them next year or not. He also said that he had no problem with racing full time with the WoO if the right circumstances were presented but right now, I guess they are up in the air with their plans right now for next year.

Isn't George the head designer of the GF1 chassis which is owned by Ti22? I know they have had a pretty successful year selling chassis around the world and the fact that KKR is switching to GF1 chassis makes the Blaney/Fisher rumor to KKR next year very credible. Now whether George would want to run the kind of schedule the WoO runs is a different story, but maybe if it wasn't on his dime??? He and Dale make a great team and I am sure the success they have had with the All Stars would carry over to the WoO.

If Dale goes to the 9 car I would be surprised if George was part of the deal. I think that Kasey will still want someone in the family calling the shots.

The logical choice would be Paul McMahon.

There is ZERO chance that Paul McMahan is going anywhere. He has found a home in the 51.

Bill Balog from Wisconsin. He won 18 out of 28 IRA races and won his 5th consecutive championship. This guy deserves a full time ride with a traveling series.

Dirt is for racing, asphalt is for the parking lot.

That model worked well in the 80's because everyone had motors that they could use with the Outlaws. Now with a lack of 410 cars accross the country, the Outlaws need to bring in most of the cars themselves. Of course there are pockets of 410 racing left where it is still the Outlaws vs the locals, but at most places it is the Outlaws vs the 360 guys which is not what the Outlaws need.

Also, There has been a decline in the "regional outlaws" The guys that would hit any Outlaw race within 6 hours from the house. Now, it is hard to get guys away from there home porch.

I haven't done the research but I would bet you an adult beverage that the outlaws had more shows with less than 24 cars than with.

You haven't done the research, and you're completely wrong. There are about 10 or so shows (mostly in the midwest) where the Outlaws have less than 24 cars. It's the exception, not the rule.

If you can get Hot Foot out of quote unquote retirement he'd be an excellent choice for KKR
