I'd think it would be someone with a veteran presence. Cody is still learning and you can't have two kids out on the tour together. Blaney could be a good fit if George comes along with him but I don't know if either of those guys want to get out on the road full time. I could see Pittman making that move if offered. He's definitely earned another shot to be back out there full time.
It's too bad Joey got fired. Have a great year last year until he got hurt. He just hasn't been as fast this year but everyone has a down year. And he's still 4th in points.

tim crawley dominates uscs because the car counts average around 16 cars a night. he can't hardly win at his home track. why do you think he left ascs, he got tired of finishing 6th in points. jason johnson would be a good 360 guy, or wayne johnson.
|
I'm just giving ideas on drivers. Im a fan of Crawley's and think.he'd be a Hood candidate. I don't see Johnson leaving Stenhouse. Wayne Johnson would be a good 360 Guy. Ifs really hard.to say who will be driving the KKR 9 next year. Its an interesting topic to talk about and like to see all the opinions of people and who they think will be driving next year

Joey should have stayed and Kasey should have cleaned out the real culprit in the deal and we know who that was.How bad does KKR want a winning championship team ,seems like its not so bad.JMO
|
I am sure Kasey want to win a WOO championship very badly but the bottom line is that it is still his FAMILY and Kasey is going to protect his family first before any driver! I would have done the same thing if it was my decision and I'm sure you would have too.

KKR is splitting the 9 team into a two-car team.
Sammy Swindell will drive the #9 - Karl Kinser will be his crew chief.
Steve Kinser will drive the #6 ("Upsidedown #9") - Sammy Swindell will be his crew chief.
Just think how awesome it will be to finally have Sammy and Steve on the same team.

How many races would Karl and Sammy have won together? Or would they have argued too much about set ups, engines, shocks, etc? Both have been great innovators, a far cry from today's cookie cutter cars.

Didn't Steve Kinser and Bob Trostle win the Nationals their first time out together(plus a qualifying night). I wonder what that combination would have done also.

How about Lucas Wolfe........He has been coming along quite well with a budgeted team and surely deserves a shot. The other nice part on having Lucas is that he is a low maintenance driver and won't have to be kept on a short leash.

All the Tyler walker replies are correct. It will be Tyler.
More weight, more regulation, more similarity in the
cars.... that will ensure plenty of thrills for years
to come. Only the most average talent behind the
wheel will be needed with such awesome equipment on
the track!

Why did KKR change from Maxim to GF1. I thought Joey has pretty much been a Maxim guy his whole career. Is that right? Did he ask for the change or KKR just decide to try something different? Just curious.
