I think Burlington and Knoxville have to be the same 305 rules. Sure you could have different ways of getting 305. One problem is that who is going to be promoter? Burlington is for sale, and Knoxville has no promoter/manager.

ok now we are starting to be on the same page ..over 3,000 hits in 5 days Who says 3 0 5 is not going foward

For those who race or own a car or promote in the racesaver deal, would you be opposed to allowing the S/R world product head to run in racesaver races or have a steel head alternative to the rules? The urss motors put out about identical HP to racesaver motors. I just can't wrap my mind around the idea an aluminum head will save the racer/car owner money. Nothing against those who like the head and are willing to ship one off to have repaired, but i also like the idea of throwing way a hurt one and buying new for $278. As 21r posted there are a few out there that spent some serious money, BUT the low budget teams are allowed to compete and are competing because of the small wing. The only way to help a motor with longevity and give a budget guy a chance is to UNHOOK the car. Wing cost is a mute point if you get 20 extra nights between rebuilds and the small wing will do that. Anyways would racesaver guys be opposed to the world product head being allowed to run?

oops, forgot to mention it, racesaver engines would get a 150lb weight brake if they come race with us, we want everyone to be able to race together, and we will do everything possible to even the playing field.

Interesting with ginving them the 150 lb weight brake. 2010 when we went to New Mexico to race they made us add a 100 lbs to race with our midwest 305 against there racesaver engines.

I been holding this in for awhile but after hearing about a $22th racesaver motor I guess it's time. I know I will get hammered over this also. I wish the 305 class was like the IMCA modifieds started out with having a motor claim rule, nothing stupid like they started with I think it was like $500 for long block, but make it a reasonable # like complete motor unhook mag and header for $10th that would stop the $22th motors quick and the guys that shop around and do the work theresefe and have $5th in there's just made $5th Good or Bad tell me what you think.

Go to an IMCA race sometime. No one EVER gets claimed even for the paltry claim $$ because they ALL are spending tons of $$ on thier motors too....

Let me get my motor together it wouldn't bother me a bit to claim it, that's over 2times what I have in my 360 it's people like that that takes the fun out of 305 racing.
